These regulations are part of an effort to strengthen transparency and corporate social responsibility. The companies concerned will have to publish reports detailing their actions and impact in these areas, on pain of sanctions. The aim of this change is to bring Switzerland into line with international standards and encourage more ethical and sustainable trade.
